The team was formally formed by Mr Gorman Ankrah and reformed in the year 1997 by Supt. Rtd Mr Twumasi Ankrah under the leadership of G/Sgt Eric Adjei Obayah as the head coach and captained by G/Sgt Ackah Francis now the current coach; with manager G/Sgt Harrison Afrifa, the team has won four local titles and the 2016 edition of the ACCC is their first international appearance.
