The first African Hockey Federation President’s Cup will be held in Arusha, Tanzania at the Twigas Club from February 22-26, 2017.

The President’s Cup is open to men’s and women’s teams who are ranked 8th and below in Africa, and whose National Associations (NAs) are properly affiliated to the FIH and AfHF and will be a qualifier for the Africa Cup for Nations (ACN) Competition with the men’s and women’s winning teams qualifying for the ACN that year.
